Unique Features
While the ministries of CSB Ministries have many things in common with other youth ministries, we also have several unique features:
Gender-specific.
Studies show that boys and girls are different--not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. In partnership with the local church, our program provides an atmosphere where boys can learn what it means to be a man of God from godly Christian men and girls can learn what it means to be a woman of God from godly Christian women.
Focus on evangelism and discipleship.
Our motto is "Winning and Training Boys and Girls for Christ." We introduce boys and girls to Christ and then we disciple them, helping them grow strong in the Lord. We also offer opportunities for your church to minister to the families of the boys and girls who attend CSB Ministries programs.
Build leaders.
Our program takes boys and girls a step further--molding them into the leaders of tomorrow. It's not just another fun evening. We help you build leaders. When they leave the program, our goal is for them to lead boys and girls in Christian Service Brigade and Girls Alive, or to take on the mantle of leadership in other areas of the church.
Our Ministry
Christian Service Brigade has been a ministry of Christian men to boys for over 60 years. It's partner ministry, Girls Alive, was developed to serve as a ministry of Christian women to girls. Working through local churches across North America, we seek to encourage men and women to lead programs for boys and girls of all ages.
This vast network of committed men and women share a common burden of bringing boys and girls to Christ, and then training them for his service. As a ministry, we’re trying to:
