Christian Service Brigade is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael O’Hara as our new president. Mr. Michael O’Hara brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership, executive account management, strategic planning, development and advancement, and marketing and communications.
As an Eagle Scout, former youth pastor, and most recently working in private Christian school administration, Michael highly recognizes and values the impact of organizations with programs that shape the lives of children and teens. His motivation and passion is discipleship and the expansion of the Kingdom of God. He is excited that these are intrinsic to the mission, vision, and programming of Christian Service Brigade.
Our new President shares his thoughts and observations on the unique ministry of CSB, “Churches and parents continue to grasp for help in discipling the next generation. Christian Service Brigade partners with these parents and leaders to create the context where they themselves are discipled in how to make disciples of the young people who matter most in their lives. And they get to do this through projects and achievement-based activities that kids love. I know of no other ministry with such a commitment to our Lord’s Great Commission in ways that honor the God-ordained relationships in the lives of children and teens. CSB’s mission of ‘Building godly men of today and tomorrow’ is evident in the consistent activities of CSB units across the United States, as well as in the lives of CSB alumni – men who are godly leaders marked by courage and valor throughout our culture and society. I am excited for the future of Christian Service Brigade, and feel privileged to steward us into this new season of growth!” – Michael O’Hara
Michael O’Hara resides in Western New York, not far from the CSB National Office. Michael and his Canadian bride of 26 years, Rebecca, have three children. Sean has served in summer leadership roles with CSB-affiliated Camp Hickory Hill, and recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from BIOLA University, in Los Angeles, with a degree in Screenwriting for Film and Television. Their daughter Maeghan graduated high school this year from Christian Central Academy, and will begin her studies in Business Administration at Buffalo State University this fall. And, their youngest, Clover, is their wildflower, keeping them young as she makes her way through middle school.
